On 19th, August we welcome The Honeycutters from North Carolina for an eagerly awaited concert that promises to be the concert of the year. The Honeycutters are Amanda Anne Platt on guitar & vocals, Matt Smith on pedal steel, dobro and Stratocaster, Rick Cooper on bass, Josh Milligan on drums and Evan Martin on keyboards and Telecaster.

In June, they released their 5th and latest album ‘Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters. It is high on both the American and UK Americana charts and has been getting rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic. It is their third album in three years, with Platt writing 38 of the 39 songs contained therein and they all high quality.

In 2015 ‘Me Oh My’ launched the band onto the national stage, bringing them a whole army of fans In May 2016, they released ‘On the Ropes’ to critical acclaim and elevated them to the next level. Now they are embarking on their first UK tour and their THL concert will be the penultimate date of the tour.

Musically they are superb and it is all wrapped up with a voice that drips with emotion, heartache and one that takes you on a journey through love and life. Soft rock and folk influences are clearly detected in their Carolina country sound. Amanda’s voice leads the charge with lyrically driven tunes conveying charm and humility.

The Honeycutters ooze class throughout. Excellent musicianship, great song writing and a voice that will make you tingle. Don’t miss this opportunity to see them, they are bound to be playing much bigger venues next time.

Supporting the Honeycutters will be Bridlington singer song writer Gracie Falls. In 2016 she won the Unsigned Song Writer of the Year Award. Her music is emotive, unique and relatable. Gracie is confident, driven, down to earth and incredibly talented.
