Co-op Community Champions

The Community Champions scheme is Lincolnshire Co-op’s way of sharing its profits with the wider community and we have been accepted by them as a Community Champion and are on their list of charities and community groups. If you are a member of the Co-op, every time you shop there and use your Dividend Card, a donation will go to your nominated local charity or community group.

Coop Community ChampionsThe more you spend, the more each local group receives. Community Champions was first launched in March 2013 and in the first year Members helped raise over £192,000 for 311 nominated local charities and good causes simply by shopping with the Co-op. You have the option of choosing to support a charity or community group of your choice from the list and the charities or community groups on that list will receive the total amount raised by members who support them at the end of each year. Please consider making the Kirton in Lindsey Diamond Jubilee Town Hall your nominated charity. All the relevant information and how to register can be found on their website:

When we were fundraising for the renovation of the hall we ran a successful campaign to ‘sponsor a brick’ or some other element of the building but now that work is complete it doesn’t mean that we no longer need sponsors! If you are a business (or an individual) there are lots of ways you can still support the Town Hall and show your commitment to the community of Kirton in Lindsey. For example, you could sponsor an event either through a cash donation or by providing goods in kind. This would give your business some added publicity and reach and we will make sure that all sponsors are mentioned on our website.

If you think sponsorship is the route for you then please contact the Chair of Trustees, Jenny Cripps, on 01652 640281 to discuss the possibilities.
