DANIEL RODRIGUEZ

Daniel Rodriguez was a founding member of the American band Elephant Revival from Colorado who disbanded in 2018 to pursue various solo projects.  He wrote some of their most well-known songs.

Daniel wasted no time in pursuing his solo career, releasing an EP in February 2019 and his debut full length album ‘Sojourn of a Burning Sun’ in August 2020.  Both were produced by his former Elephant Revival bandmate Darren Garvey.

Following the release of ‘Sojourn’ he took to the road in the States with a very tight trio that includes Emma and Charlie Rose and they have been making great music ever since.   The trio opened for The Lumineers on their 2022 World Tour playing sold out Arenas and Stadiums across North America, ending with a special homecoming show in Denver in front of 40,000 fans.  Daniel has also performed with some of his talented friends such as Gregory Alan Isakov and Todd Snider.

Not one to stand still Daniel released his follow up album, ‘Vast Nothing’ in March this year.  It bolsters his reputation as one of America’s finest songwriters and performers.  2023 is destined to be a big year for Daniel Rodriguez.  Don’t miss him when he comes to Kirton.

For his UK Tour Daniel will perform as a four piece, with Zachary Jackson, Justin Mazer and Emma Rose.

Daniel will play acoustic guitar, Justin on Telecaster, Zachary on bass and vocal harmony and Emma on vocal harmony.

Support will be by Emma.  From a young age she played violin, banjo, upright bass, cello and guitar.  On leaving school she moved to Austin where she played bass and sung harmonies in a bluegrass band.  In 2021 she moved back to Denver, where as well as playing in Daniel’s band she formed her band Sound of Honey.  Their album ‘Dozens of Colors’ was released earlier this year.
